We’re at a pivotal time in our nation’s history. Our moment demands we do something different.

Imraan Siddiqi is a civil rights leader running to restore moral leadership and fight for working families in Congress.

Our leaders have failed to meet this moment. While the costs of housing, healthcare, and childcare skyrocket for Washingtonians, Kim Schrier sends our tax dollars to fund a genocide in Gaza that has claimed the lives of over 15 thousand children. While corporations in our backyard score record profits by dodging taxes and busting unions, Kim Schier votes to censure progressive voices standing up for the civil rights issue of our moment. We cannot afford leadership that plays politics with people’s lives—at home or abroad. That is why I am running for Congress.
— Imraan Siddiqi

Meet Imraan

Imraan’s parents came to the U.S. in search of better opportunities. Their family story is the story of America. The promise of hope and a higher quality of life for their kids. After his oldest brother suffered a terrible accident, Imraan took over the family business. He earned his MBA, got a job in corporate America, and continued his passion for advocacy and writing. Now, he’s raising his own family while serving as the Executive Director of the Washington chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations and a national leader against Islamophobia and a failed foreign policy paid for by working people.
